Liberation Officers

Apply now to become a Liberation Officer

As part of the Liberation Officer role, you will work with the Vice President and GSA Students' Association (GSASA) to help shape the Campaigns Committee - with other students - and to lead on intersectional, playful and informed organising. 

These roles are:

  • A support network;
  • A crucial role within the Campaigns Committee;
  • A space to facilitate liberation-based organising that is intersectional and tangible. 

You will receive a £200 honorarium per semester from GSASA for semesters one and two as well as advice and support throughout the year from the Student Engagement Team. 

Liberation Officers will be selected by the Sabbatical Officers based on an application form filled in by you. The form will be open until 7th October, with the roles announced at the AGM (Annual General Meeting) on October 9th.

  • Disability Officer
  • Queer Officer
  • Gender Equality Officer
  • POC Officer
  • Environmental Officer
  • International Students Officer
  • Mature Students Officer
