The Vic Warm Space

Thursday 02-11-2023 - 11:06

Hi folks,

Exciting news!!

The Vic will be opening its doors as a “warm space” from Tuesday 7th November!

The Vic, in the GSASA Assembly Building, will be open as a free, warm space to eat, study, and relax. The doors will be open to all students and staff every Monday to Thursday, from 11am-4pm.

(Please note: there will be no food or drink provision, but you are welcome to bring you own lunch. Please be mindful of others as you use the space. There will also be a break in opening hours over Christmas.)

The building will also be accessible in the usual ways, through the events we organise and more! If you are part of a student society, if you’re a student thinking about an event you’d like to facilitate, or something else…get in contact the team at gsasa@gsa.ac.uk

The GSASA is located in the Assembly Building at 20 Scott Street, G3 6PE. The main door is at pavement level and opens outwards onto Scott Street. It is 117cm/ 46 inches wide. The building is spread across 4 floors which can be accessed via the lift or central staircase. There are gender neutral and disabled toilets located on the basement (-1) and second (2) floors of the building. Please see the full Accessibility Guide on the GSASA website for more information.

A short but sweet message. I look forward to seeing you in the building!

Thanks,

Ted
