I hope you all had a wonderful Freshers' Week!
It's been such a pleasure to chat all things democracy, representation and meet so many of you throughout the week. I am really excited for all the societies, events and opportunities we will have to work together throughout the year.
This week is just the beginning...
I am sure that it's been a big week for a lot of you, so take some time to rest, relax and settle into your studios, and once you're feeling a bit more settled on campus, we would love for you all to come and get involved with the Students' Association.
So here is a reminder of some of the opportunities we have for you to get more involved with the Students' Association throughout the year. These are all a great way to meet people outside of your course, make new friends and learn some really valuable skills.
What's next?
Our next big event at the Student's Association will be our Annual General Meeting (AGM), taking place on Wednesday 9th October from 5pm - 7pm in the Vic Bar.
The AGM is your chance to come and ask questions about the GSASA, learn more about how we work and join our Student Representative Council. We would love to see as many of you there as possible, and we will also be giving away some free prizes at the end...
Good luck with your first week of classes. I'm looking forward to seeing you all soon!
