GSA Gallery Society is pleased to announce, ‘A Work in progress’. They are accepting artworks of all kinds that are in progress, unfinished, or just beginning, as well as ‘finished’ artworks that are the gateway to an ongoing project. In submitting, you are encouraged to consider what it means for your work to be ‘in progress’. The Gallery Society are interested in the exhibition as the start of the artwork’s life, a place for visibility, interactions with the world, and change. Through a series of drop-in crits, this exhibition will help artists develop and push their ideas, allowing anyone who signs up to have the opportunity to hear from those in the space. Alongside this there will be intermittent performances as part of a festival of GSA students. Submit your work to help fill the large gallery space at Strangefields and make this exhibition a memorable one.

Submit your application form by 5pm on the 22nd of November, and the call is open to students, past alumni and staff.

The exhibition will take place between the 10th and 20th of December @ Strangefields, French Street.

If you are interested in taking part of the series of performances email estshowing@gmail.com

Work must be dropped of at French street on the morning of the 10th of December and also picked up in the evening of the 20th of December (if this is not possible and your work is selected please get in touch).

Every effort will be made to avoid damage or loss of works but GSA Gallery Society cannot be held accountable for this.

There is a £5 hanging fee if your work is selected to be exhibited, this must be paid prior to the show opening as your work may not included. If you submit multiple works and they are accepted the fee will be payable for the number of selected works
