The results are in for our 2026 Spring Elections...

After three days of voting, we're delighted to announce that GSA students have voted for Rufus Horton and Charli Runcie as their Student President and Vice President of Education for 2026/2027!

Over 1,000 students voted this year which makes this yet another record-breaking Election at your Students' Association. Your participation means everything to us, so we really can't thank you all enough. Every year we try to improve how we represent you and find ways to make your time at GSA better, and this number inspires us to keep going. 

Huge thanks to all seven candidates who deserve an incredible amount of praise for the work they have put into these past few months. It has been a pleasure to watch their campaigns and listen to their ideas for how to improve student life at GSA. 

We'd also like to thank our Elections Ambassadors, Mariia Yalovets, Rithu Krishna P R and Varvara Yurenko, who you'll have seen on campus handing out flyers, putting up posters and helping to guide our campaign. 

And finally, congratulations once again to Rufus and Charli and to every single one of you who helped make these Elections such a success.
